About Dr. Diane Ferris

I am very excited about beginning to blog about health especially as it is related to Chiropractic and alternative medicine. Before I get started, let me tell you a little about me. I grew up in Chicago, attended Loyola University and received my B.S in Biology. While I attended Loyola, I worked at the YMCA as a weight trainer and aerobic instructor. This began my passion for working with people.

After graduation, I worked as a microbiology lab technician and eventually obtained a job at Dove International as a Microbiology Lab Supervisor. I was fortunate enough to start  their laboratory at their new facility. Even though my career was going well, I still wanted to further my education and help people.

I discovered Chiropractic after my husband Mike was injured while working  on our home. It made a great difference for him and I found what I had been looking for. I enrolled at National University of Health Sciences in January of 1992 and completed my education in 1996.

I have a family practice and I love it! The years have been challenging especially moving my office 6 times in 14 years. I can’t imagine doing anything different. Helping people through the years has been rewarding. I feel  blessed! I’m looking forward to many years of practice.
